The Opportunity  

We are looking for an accomplished Corporate Administrator to join our Client Accounting team as part of our financial services business in Grand Cayman.  

   

The Cayman Islands is home to our global headquarters and where the Maples Group first established operations in the 1960s. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest employers in Cayman, where colleagues from all over the world collaborate to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide.  

   

The Corporate Administrator will be responsible for providing administration services to financial services clients, including investment funds, structured finance vehicles and trusts. As part of our Cayman team, you will:  

   

  • Be responsible for preparation, review and maintenance of US IRS tax administration forms and corporate registrations for a large number of entities in 40+ jurisdictions;
  • Be responsible for monitoring multiple central inboxes that receive a high volume of emails every day;
  • Interact with global colleagues, as well as our clients and their counsel;
  • Ensure that all tax forms and registrations are performed in accordance with established protocols;
  • Be expected to perform other duties including maintaining trackers on MS-Excel, preparing weekly/ monthly reports, billing & invoicing and maintaining proper records of client work;

   

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to complete tasks in a timely manner in accordance with protocols, will be proficient in all MSOffice and Microsoft applications and must be able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team.  

   

What You Bring

  • The successful candidate will be a University graduate or associate, preferably in business administration, finance or accounting with an excellent academic background;
  • Will demonstrate a strong ability to complete tasks in a timely manner in accordance with client protocols,
  • Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet client and regulatory deadlines;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; 
  • Be able to liaise externally with clients at various levels and internally at the Maples Group;
  • Will consistently strive for excellence, take pride in executing their responsibilities efficiently and accurately, and proactively look for opportunities to recommend improvements to systems and processes.
