As the Director of Scaled Marketing at Zendesk, you are the maestro conducting an orchestra of marketing initiatives. Your mission: to optimize our sales funnel, create powerful go-to-market strategies, empower our sales teams with the right tools, design irresistible promotions that scale, and drive customer adoption and expansion. Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and growing a high-performing marketing team. This is a position for the strategic marketer who knows how to nurture leads, foster customer loyalty, and drive customer growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft compelling go-to-market strategies that resonate with our target audience and drive growth.
  • Shape the acquisition funnel into a well-oiled machine, optimizing each stage for maximum efficiency.
  • Arm our digital sales teams with top-notch, scalable content and tools that enable them to succeed.
  • Create enticing discount and promotion strategies that not only attract customers but also scale with our growing business.
  • Drive customer adoption and expansion by developing and implementing effective marketing strategies.
  • Lead, manage, and grow a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure your team is well-resourced, providing guidance and mentorship to aid their professional development.
  • Develop and fine-tune marketing campaigns that not only capture attention but also nurture leads effectively.
  • Collaborate with teams across Zendesk, ensuring our marketing strategies align with and support our overarching business objectives.
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends and advancements, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in scalable marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant areas. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment, with at least 7 years in marketing functions.
  • Deep understanding of funnel optimization, go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and customer expansion strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in team management, resourcing, and growth.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $152,000.00-$228,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
