The Opportunity  

We are looking for an accomplished IT Support Analyst to join our IT team as part of our financial services business in Grand Cayman.  

The Cayman Islands is home to our global headquarters and where the Maples Group first established operations in the 1960s. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest employers in Cayman, where colleagues from all over the world collaborate to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide. As part of our team you will:  

   

  • Provide technical desktop and application support to staff locally in our global offices through the service support ticket system 
  • Perform system administration tasks for in-house and generic applications, local Windows domain and Zoom telephony (phones and videoconference)
  • Design system functionality and re-engineering business processes by leveraging his/her understanding of the local and global business requirements and find innovative solutions to system constraints
  • Provide local change management for global initiatives, including the coordination of end-user testing, training and effectively communicating with stakeholders
  • Assist in the preparation of departmental budget and business plans involving purchasing new services, hardware, software and other IT suppliers; and tracking IT assets (PC’s, mobiles, etc.).

   

What You Bring  

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:  

   

  • To be successful in a fast-paced environment as a member of a high-caliber team,
  • Familiar with the technology, tools and applications used by Maples Group;
  • Effectively and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues, and when required, collaborate with other members of the Information Technology team to “dig deeper” in order to identify and implement complex solutions;
  • Work independently to deliver project results on time and within budget.
  • 3+ years' work experience in Information Technology
  • A+ certification and MCP Certification is preferred
