Make Your Mark:

The Partner Program Director will work closely with the Senior Director, Partner Programs & Enablement to drive and execute strategic partner ecosystem initiatives as well as own and maintain our Partner Program guides and govern corresponding components. This role understands the partner value in relation to strategic corporate business objectives and KPIs. They will be proactive to identify and execute on opportunities to drive a positive partner impact to the organization and global partner ecosystem. As overall program owner, this role understands the ecosystem categories and corresponding benefits and requirements that need to be governed. Specifically, this role will forge strong cross-departmental relationships to deliver on program benefits and govern program requirements. This role will also be a primary voice to the partner community through webinars, newsletters, events and other communication channels.

You'll Get To:

Strategic Partner Initiatives:

  • Coordinate and manage milestone activities for priority business objectives
  • Forge cross-departmental relationships to drive collaboration in projects
  • Provide project views for activity ownership, dependencies, and deliverable dates
  • Follow-up and drive commitments from cross-departmental stakeholders to drive priority business objectives
  • Represent partners in cross-departmental meetings to understand partner impact and coordinate follow-on meetings/activities as needed
  • Work closely with Global Program & Enablement Director to understand partner journey touchpoints and interactions with BL teams to streamline and improve reled processes (customer success, product, sales, services, support, legal, training, etc.)

Partner Programs

  • Ownership over partner program guides for Alliances, Solution Provider, and BPO partnerships
  • Propose verbiage and publish timely updates to partner programs following business updates that impact program components
  • Drive new year program launch activities which includes the following:
  • Propose edits-to and update new year program guide versions liaising closely with creative team and partner leaders
  • Propose language for and oversee distribution of personalized partner tier status announcements
  • Review data provided by Alliances Ops to determine annual partner awards recipients and propose winners
  • Support partner kick-off event including invitation, content, and coordination of speakers
  • Work with Sales Leaders to coordinate Partner Forum event
  • Support vision for Partner Journey Scorecard that encompasses a holistic view for maturity across partner program requirements, specifically certification program requirements, practice building maturity, and churn and attrition KPIs

Partner Communications

  • Collaborate closely with Customer Communications and tailor communications regarding BlackLine business updates for partner audience
  • Work closely with Alliance Marketing on calendar and own partner communication activity for program and enablement updates
  • Own strategy for modes and frequencies for certain types of communications
  • Manage timeline and support deliverables to execute communication under Marketing Ops guidelines
  • Make sure internal teams are aware of partner facing communications
  • Manage and clean-up source data for communication distribution listings
  • Oversee and drive content completion for quarterly program and enablement newsletter
  • Become an expert in our NewsOnDemand communication channel to push out timely communications to partner ecosytem

Partner Webinars

  • Manage Calendar for Partner Webinars Series, proposing topics based on strategic priorities
  • Coordinate speaker availability and secure SMEs for partner webinar topics
  • Oversee and drive content readiness for webinar including speaker bios and ensuring a consistent storyline for webinar content
  • Prepare verbiage for invite and landing page
  • Coordinate rehearsals and practice sessions
  • Become familiar with On24 platform as a producer
  • Host live webinars and facilitate session and Q&A
  • Follow-up on partner Q&A
  • Provide visibility to leadership on webinar registration, attendance, and feedback

Strategic Partner Events:

  • Support manager with coordination of speakers, deliverables, timelines for strategic partner events including BeyondTheBlack conferences, Kick-Off events, and Partner Forums.

Reporting/Dashboards

  • Provide reports/dashboards for partner webinar engagement
  • Propose and deliver partner scorecard attributes to report up health and status of program KPIs to demonstrate governance over program attributes
  • Support creation of other reports/dashboards to reflect progress of partner powered and related partner program initiatives

Other

What You'll Bring:

  • 4+ years' experience in alliances/channel programs preferred (e.g. Big 4, Global SIs, boutiques and Regional SIs, channel partners)
  • 4+ years' experience with program management models and execution
  • 4+ years' with communication models and in customer/partner facing roles
  • Experience driving and seeing through successful execution of cross-departmental initiatives
  • Experience leveraging various learning tools and media to provide optimal learning
  • Understanding of ERP, CRM and related application software domains
  • Deep understanding of partner go-to-market model
  • Strong understanding of business/application consulting. Consulting background is beneficial
  • Understanding of service offering creation, marketing, lead generation processes and key performance indicators/value drivers for large professional services / SI organizations
  • Practical experience in supporting definition and delivery of solutions
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on high impact initiatives to deliver outcomes
  • Track record of delivering measurable results, regularly meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong executive presence & exceptional communication skills (verbal, written).
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead and execute strategy in a collaborative environment
  • Superior ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Self-starter, with strong work ethic and personal drive and character qualities that match with company core values and inspires others to follow and act
  • Willingness to travel on as-needed basis primarily across North America, and occasionally globall

We're Even More Excited If You Have:

  • Experience in Partner / Alliance Management managing SI partners including experience with a variety of partner types preferred (e.g. ISVs like SAP, Big 4, Global SI's, boutiques and Regional SI's).
  • 5+ years' experience in finance/accounting related business experience preferred
  • Understanding of service offering creation, marketing, lead generation processes and key performance indicators/value drivers for large professional services / SI organizations.
  • Practical experience in supporting definition and delivery of solutions with partner leads/P&L owners.
  • Track record of delivering measurable results, regularly meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Superior ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to quickly analyze and apply relevant information to make timely and critical decisions that affect cross-functional teams to increase program ROI and effectiveness.
  • Strong tolerance for ambiguity; ability to focus and execute in a rapidly changing environment, take charge and make things happen. Self-starter, with strong work ethic and personal drive and character qualities that match with company core values and inspires others to follow and act

Salary Range:

USD $132,000.00 - USD $176,000.00

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
