Responsibilities

This position is responsible for influencing and executing the recruitment strategy across the organization. This will be achieved through the implementation of recruiting plans, employing traditional and non-traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas, assisting with the candidate experience and continued development and maintenance of Crawford's Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This position will help ensure that Crawford Electric is compliant with government legislation as it relates to Affirmative Action plans (AAP), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and other related areas.

  • This position will manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles within levels 1 - 13, helping managers find, hire, and retain quality candidates.
  • Work hand in hand with TA Coordinator, providing necessary communication on
  • Manage and update Recruiting Tracker for all jobs assigned by the TA Coordinator, providing visibility to the HRBP's across the organization regarding their locations' open roles, candidates, and new hires.
  • Develop relationships with managers within assigned region(s) to build awareness of their departments, unique needs of their business, and understand hiring needs/job specifications.
  • Cultivate positive relationships within assigned region(s), and TA and HR team members that will enable the HR function to be viewed as an integral part of Crawford's business.
  • Attend local recruiting events as needed, partnering with the Sonepar TA Team on needs within assigned regions for targeted recruiting efforts.
  • Work with the TA Manager and team to continue to evolve and develop Crawford's best hiring practices.
  • Perform all duties in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with Crawford's policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years progressive recruitment experience (non-exempt & exempt preferred)
  • Experience navigating within an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage processes and staffing functions within a multi-site, multi-state company.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness leading full life cycle recruitment efforts.
  • Skill in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Technically savvy and quick learner within new platforms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others, verbally and in writing.
