Toyota's Human Resources Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Senior Analyst, HR Business Advisor Project Management to support our Regional Manufacturing customers.

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources Manufacturing Business Advisor team Project Manager, the person in this role will support the Human Resources business functions regionally with the transformation of business processes and implementation of effective HR solutions.

This position will be based in either Plano, Texas or Georgetown, Kentucky. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of one of these locations. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and manage various regional HR projects, such as talent acquisition and recruitment, employee relations and engagements, legal and regulatory compliance, strategic human resource planning, and human resources technology and analytics.
  • Work with cross-functional areas, such as Policy, Benefits, Compensation, Analytics, HR Technology (HRt), Information Technology (ITx), Payroll, Internal Communications, North American Manufacturing Centers (NAMCs), Finance, and Product Support to build relationships and align project goals and expectations.
  • Lead and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Monitor and track project progress, budget, and quality, and report on key metrics and outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and risks and escalate as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, sponsors, and regional and local HR and NAMC leadership.
  • Apply best practices and methodologies in HR project management and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other HR project managers and functional leads to share best practices and lessons learned.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and impacts; provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, such as project plans, status reports, risk registers, and change requests, practicing PDCA (plan-do-check-act).
  • Foster positive team member relations in all aspects of the project.
  • Drive open and transparent communications across the project team, stakeholder organizations, and regional and local HR leadership team to promote a culture of nemawashi (laying the groundwork or foundation, building consensus), feedback, and project acceptance.

What you bring

  • Solid HR background, preferably with experience in more than one discipline with strong/demonstrated people leadership and project management experience.
  • Experience leading projects.
  • Exceptional facilitation and relationship-building skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple, frequently changing and/or competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Bachelor's degree or higher OR equivalent professional work experience that is relevant to this position.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time.

Added bonus if you have

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Business, Liberal Arts, or Communications.
  • Toyota NAMC experience or manufacturing experience working in a Toyota Production System.
  • Leadership experience within Toyota.
  • Project management certification.
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
