Who we're looking for

Toyota's Treasury department team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Sr. Financial Analyst - Asset Backed Securities Operations.

The primary responsibility of this role is to fulfill the servicing of Toyota Financial Services and Toyota Credit Canada Inc's Asset Backed Securities (ABS) program. Servicing the ABS debt includes identifying and selecting assets for inclusion in ABS deals, as well as calculating, disbursing, and reporting on monthly ABS debt payments. The department also acts as primary point of contact representing Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (TMCC) during audit engagements evaluating TMCC's regulatory and contractual compliance on ABS transactions.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparation and issuance of monthly servicer certificates/debt payments to ABS investors. Verify that assets are serviced in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements. Prepare and validate all required public SEC filings.
  • Collaborate with Treasury's secured funding group to set up new ABS transactions in accordance with transaction documents and regulatory requirements. Execute liquidation procedures on ABS transactions at end of transaction term.
  • During regulatory and contractual compliance audits, provide documentation for testing purposes. Collaborate with other TFS and TCCI departments to investigate unusual servicing activity.
  • Oversee setup and change management of ABS Suite securitization platform, TMCC loan and lease servicing systems, treasury management systems to ensure accurate booking and servicing of ABS transactions.
  • Assist with ABS Program Group initiatives, which include continuous assessment and improvement in department processes, adoption of new compliance requirements, and future expansion of the securitization program.
  • Ad hoc projects and assignments.

What you bring

  • B.S./B.A degree in Accounting and Finance or related field
  • 2-4 years audit/assurance experience with Big 4 or National CPA firm
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Added bonus if you have

  • Certified Public Accountant certification
  • Experience in SQL and Visio
