The Lexus Eastern Area is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Service Training Specialist.

What you'll be doing

  • Implementing the Lexus technical training classes for the region including the scheduling, class preparation, facilitation of training materials, and class completion duties.
  • Identifying class demand through knowledge of technician skill level guidelines and Certification by Lexus requirements
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of all class content, and effectively delivering said content
  • Responsible for service training center maintenance and upkeep including the servicing of training fleet vehicles, training tools and equipment, and the training facilities.
  • Providing input to region on technical training course curriculum development
  • Administration, oversight, and accountability of company-owned training assets
  • Supporting regional initiatives for the Eastern Area including quality initiatives, auto show displays, training for personnel and partners, etc.

What you bring

  • Detailed knowledge of automotive technology and ability to understand technical training course content
  • Classroom instructor and classroom/lab skills
  • Experience in automotive repair and instruction
  • ASE Certification(s)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability and willingness to travel 30% of the time
  • This position requires driving; a motor vehicle record that's acceptable by company standards is required

Added bonus if you have

  • Advanced ASE Certifications (L1, L3, L4)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in a Technical Training capacity
  • Technical analysis and problem-solving skills

The annual base salary range for this position is
$103,800.00 - $168,700.00
