About the role

This role will be based in a Hybrid/remote working capacity, and we are fully supportive of flexible working arrangements.

As a Solution Architect you work directly with our clients and will be the go-to person for both our programme delivery teams and the client user groups. Our Solutions Architects work as one-team with the client to understand the problem definition, their technical and process business needs to enable the design and development of solutions from our portfolio of products and service lines. At conclusion of the solutioning stage the Solutions Architect will recommend best in class solutions to the problem, once a solution is chosen the solution architect will support and mentor the solution implementation with the project delivery team using an Agile Delivery Framework. The Solution Architect's leadership transform our customers business and confirms that the technical integrity of the solution remains aligned to requirements and value delivery throughout project. Where integrated solutions are required the Solution Architect ensures they will work together to deliver value.

Area of Responsibility

  • Ownership of the solution delivery - agile to change and managing risk across implementation whilst delivering at pace direct with the client.
  • Being a trusted advisor to the client and user groups - providing expertise, consensus and guidance which will suit their needs throughout programme delivery and in-service support.
  • Building trust, respect and effective relationships with the client and user groups - to understand and alleviate problems, manage expectations, and enable progressive change and implementation throughout programme delivery.
  • Delivering an agile programme of requirements - providing guidance and direction to both client and internal architectural/implementation/programme teams
  • Designing and delivering workshops - utilising the opportunity to engage in technology adoption and understanding the client needs.
  • Ability to communicate between technology and business needs and across a multi-disciplined of technical and non-technical stakeholders, such as users, clients, technical, programme and sales teams.
  • Acting as part of a Consulting Services team, work productively with Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and other internal & external interfaces to ensure that the customer succeeds in their objectives.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Product design and Manufacturing industry experience: Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, Industrial Machinery & Heavy Equipment, CP&R, Medical Devices, Marine
  • Good communication skills with an ability to articulate technology and complexity into simple, clear and concise business strategies, problems definitions, requirements and actions into deliverables and solutions.
  • Experienced within PLM or MES solution design.
  • Working knowledge of Teamcenter and/or NX configuration, testing and implementation
  • Working with multi-functional teams from service delivery, design, product development and implementation
  • Experience working in Agile or sophisticated technology projects/programmes
